The Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame proudly invites you to the 2026 Summer Reunion, an evening dedicated to celebrating the people, stories, and traditions that have shaped the rich history of athletics throughout Northern Kentucky.
This year’s featured program offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the most fascinating aspects of professional sports today—Instant Replay in Major League Baseball and the National Football League. Our featured speakers bring firsthand experience from the highest levels of professional sports. Randy Marsh, President of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame and retired Major League Baseball umpire, spent decades officiating baseball’s biggest games. He will share his unique perspective on how instant replay has transformed officiating and the challenges of making split-second decisions on the field.J oining him is Chad Adams, who provides an insider’s perspective on the NFL’s replay system and the technology, communication, and decision-making that take place behind every reviewed play. Replay technology has forever changed professional sports. While nearly everyone agrees that getting the call right is the ultimate goal, finding the balance between accuracy and maintaining the pace of the game continues to generate discussion among players, coaches, officials, broadcasters, and fans alike. Whether you’re a lifelong sports enthusiast or simply curious about what happens behind the scenes, this promises to be an informative, entertaining, and engaging presentation you won’t want to miss.
